Brett Hildebrand is the founder of both IAG Capital Partners, based in Charleston, South Carolina, and IAG Silverstripe, based in London, UK. Brett also serves as a board member of Credit One Bank. In 1997, he co-founded Sherman Financial Group. Prior to his time at Sherman, he worked at Citicorp and Goldman Sachs.

Dennis Sacha is a partner at IAG. Previously, he served as a director at Sherman Financial where he focused on evaluating portfolios and building predictive models. He also had a decorated 20 year career in the US Navy, with roles including pilot, aviation engineering duty officer, information warfare assistant, flight research scientist, and others. He currently sits on the board of Baebies, Ancera, and OhmIQ, and is a member of the Coastal Community Foundation impact investing committee.

Alonso Galván is a partner at IAG. His previous roles include associate analyst at Moody’s and a VP of Sherman Financial, where he focused on structuring investments in Mexico and was instrumental in the portfolio acquisitions group. He currently sits on the board of Red Bison Technology Group and serves as chairman at Tethr.

Joel Whitley is a partner at IAG. He has a varied background as an investors, counselor, and lawyer, with previous roles as general counsel of ASRC Energy Services and as a director at Sherman Capital Markets. He was also a corporate attorney at Munger, Tolles & Olson in Los Angeles. He currently serves as a board member or board observer for companies including VenoStent, Tethr, NLX, and many others.

Ehsan Jabbarzadeh is a venture partner at IAG. With a varied professional background in entrepreneurship, innovation, and academic leadership, he also serves as a professor of chemical and biomedical engineering at the University of South Carolina. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded and led Obsidio Inc, a venture-backed medical device company that was acquired by Boston Scientific. He currently sits on the board of Lucid, JanaCare, DeepCure, and others.

Alex Kash is an associate at IAG. He previously served as a data analyst at i360, where he developed quantitative trading strategies for large cap US equities. He currently serves as a board member for XScape Photonics and a board observer for Enfabrica, Ordaos, and DeepCure. Alex graduated with a degree in economics from the University of Virginia.

Sam Carter is an analyst at IAG. He previously performed equity research for the semis and hardware head of Meridiem Capital Partners, played early roles at venture-backed startups Dibbs and Bazar, and helped scale Celebrities and Card Breaks as the first outside hire, working directly with several NBA and MLB players. Sam graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Computer Science and a secondary in English.

Anna Hildebrand is an analyst at IAG. She graduated from Vanderbilt in 2021 with an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering and Imperial College London in 2022 with a master’s degree in Medical Device Design and Entrepreneurship. Prior to joining IAG, Anna worked in a bioengineering research lab at Imperial.

Katelyn Chipley is operations manager at IAG. She has 10 years of experience in project management and business development, with previous roles at Fidelity Investments and companies working in packaging and healthcare logistics. She is responsible for IAG’s business process organization, accounting, and fund administration.

Ramey Schutz is administrative manager at IAG. She has a background working in education as a teacher as well as in various administrative and office management roles. She is responsible for assisting IAG partners with a broad range of tasks.
